Fees for Legal Services
Attorney Tallman typically charges legal services at an hourly rate. A flat fee may be quoted for certain services, such as preparation of a deed.
An initial consultation is available at an hourly rate. While there are standard retainer fees for certain types of cases, the retainer fee can vary and will be determined at the time of the initial consultation. Often, at that time, an estimate for legal fees can be made.
The fee paid for the consultation does apply as a credit toward any retainer fee. A retainer fee is the fee for retaining the attorney and is prepayment of a certain portion of legal services at an hourly rate, and costs, similar to a deposit.
Cash, check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express) are accepted for payment. Payment plans may be available. Payment for the initial consultation is due at the time of the appointment.
